To access the Required reading in ESS follow the steps below: Login to Employee Self Service (ESS) Employee Self Service Login The User ID for ESS is your Employee ID number. If you have never logged in ESS before, the password is the last 4 digits of your SSN. 1. Locate the Required reading section highlighted below and click COE Employee Handbook 2. Next, click VIEW DOCUMENT and the Handbook will be displayed in a separate window. 3.
